Challenge

The storage systems were configured using RAID protection appropriate to their role, including RAID 5 and RAID 1 configurations.
Backup jobs, storage destinations, and retention settings were configured for the protected systems, with backup resources located across two sites to provide additional separation between production systems and backup copies.
Outcome
The firm gained a structured backup environment using Veeam and dedicated Synology storage rather than relying on unmanaged or single-location copies of business data.
