The project included mailbox migration, OneDrive configuration and permissions, security configuration, and ongoing monitoring to provide a more manageable Microsoft 365 environment for the business.
Challenge
The shipping agency was using a legacy IMAP email environment that provided limited centralized management and security capabilities. The business needed to move its email services to Microsoft 365 while also organizing OneDrive access and permissions and establishing stronger security and monitoring for the environment.
Work Performed
ZeroShieldIT migrated the client's email environment from IMAP to Microsoft 365 and configured the Microsoft 365 environment for ongoing business use.
The work included mailbox migration, OneDrive configuration, review and configuration of user access and permissions, implementation of Microsoft 365 security settings, and monitoring of the environment.
Permissions were configured according to the required level of access for users while maintaining appropriate control over company data.
Outcome
The shipping agency moved from its legacy IMAP environment to Microsoft 365, with email and OneDrive services managed within the Microsoft 365 environment. User permissions, security controls, and monitoring were configured as part of the deployment, giving the business a more structured environment for managing email, files, access, and security.
